February M&A Recap - Recruitment Services and HR Tech

There were 20 acquisition announcements in February. That is a 33% increase in deals tracked compared to February’24. Here is a recap and highlights from February’s deal activity across staffing, HR tech, and exec search:

February Deal Highlights:

Paradox Acquires Eqtble: Advancing AI and People Analytics in HR Tech - HR Tech.
Takeaway: Paradox scoops up Eqtble, bringing together a now classic pairing of good data and AI. In this case, to help companies make data-driven decisions to improve retention, performance, and overall HR efficiency. Eqtble's platform connects disparate data from the various solutions enterprises use throughout the TA process. Paradox has many enterprise customers and now offers insights gathered throughout the hiring funnel via their conversational AI, Olivia.

HiBob Acquires Mosaic to Expand FP&A Capabilities for CFOs - HR Tech.
Takeaway: HiBob is determined to give the HR folks and the Finance team something to chat about the next time they meet at the water cooler. No more awkward silences! With HiBob's people management capabilities combined with Mosaic's financial analytics, organizations can track workforce productivity and financial outcomes.  

Talento Human Capital Management acquires R2 Global & The PeterSan Group - Tech/Legal Recruitment.
Takeaway: These acquisitions makes three in the last two years for TalentoHC. They are rapidly growing through M&A and have a bullish 24 month economic outlook. These deals expand their divisions into legal and tech while increasing their overseas recruiting presence. They are building while the US recruitment industry has been on the decline. 

CareerMD acquired by CHG Healthcare - Healthcare Staffing.
Takeaway: Healthcare is in dire need of more medical professionals. Healthcare staffing firms are at war competing for the limited supply. CHG’s acquisition of CareerMD deepens the supply pool even more by connecting with candidates while still in medical school and keeps them in the recruitment funnel until a placement is made.
