Here is my list of “Who? acquired Who?” from this week 😉:  

March 25th-29nd Deals

Onex Corp Acquires Morson Group - IT Staffing.
Takeaway: Onex has a track record of recruitment roll-ups, Morson being their latest staffing deal behind Acacium Group and Favorite Healthcare.

HeadFirst and Impellam join forces - Staffing & HR Tech.
Takeaway: There are no stated plans to integrate the two brands, but together HeadFirst and Impellam have global coverage over IT, Life Sciences and STEM staffing. As well as a bigger MSP practice. 

IPE Ventures acquires UK division of Staffing 360 - Staffing.
Takeaway: Staffing360's model is to buy and operate staffing brands. They looked at the forecast and said the UK market is not as desirable as the US staffing market will be over the next 10 years. The sale of their UK divisions gives them capital and focus for their US brands. 

Job Mobz Acquires Before You Apply - HR Tech.
Takeaway: Adding a candidate friendly and employer brand platform like BeforeYouAapply to an RPO platform makes a lot of sense. Job Mobz now offers another tool to help their RPO clients promote their employer brand and can potentially drive candidate traffic direct from BYA's site. 

Shiftpixy to acquire an anonymous Industrial Staffing provider - Staffing & HR Tech.
Takeaway: Let's check back in later this year if this deal can make it across the finish line. Shiftpixy went public via SPAC several years ago and has had a questionable growth strategy ever since.
